Phillip Haddad owns his own law firm for Chicago Criminal defense and personal injury. He first found an appreciation for law when watching Twelve Angry Men. From there he has always maintained a love of theatre and is happy to support it through Growth Theatre.

Tonya Johnson is the owner of Chicago’s Home of Chicken and Waffles. Still living in her hometown, Tonya sees Growth Theatre as a great place for students to spend their time and grow. She supports Growth Theatre, as she wishes that it could’ve been there when she was growing up.

Norman Bolden is the owner of Norman’s Bistro. He is proud to support Growth Theatre and be an example to his young nephew, Noah, who hopes to pursue the arts himself.

Emily Cohen is a staff accountant at Navy Pier. Upon receiving her BA in Performing Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago, she knew that wherever her career brought her, she would want to keep her connection to Chicago-based theatre.

Janice Jackson is the Superintendent of CPS. She enjoys dedicating her time to bettering the lives of her students. When she found out that Growth Theatre was reaching out to her students,  she was more than ecstatic to join our board and continue to support her students.
